• Manage roles and responsibilities of the Finance Officer and their direct reports
• Develop a cross functional, multi skilled accounts team
• Provide leadership, motivation and encouragement to the accounts team, ensuring deliverables and timelines are agreed and adhered to

• Timely and accurate month end close for the UK parent company within agreed deadlines
• Ensure complete, accurate and timely processing of all transactions
• Oversee that all balance sheet accounts are controlled and reconciled
• Ensure profit and loss accounts are a true representation of company performance
• Manage internal reporting requirements, adhering to WHQ deadlines for reconciliation
• Ensure that the regulatory requirements and timelines of all statutory bodies are met.
• Lead the interim and annual audit process, agreeing timetables and ensuring timely delivert of audit information and finalisation of the financial statements for the Group

Financial Controls & Systems

• Responsibility for developing and maintaining an effective system of controls within the UK financial function, ensuring the needs of the internal audit function are met
• Embed a culture of financial control
• Ensure efficient processes within the UK financial function and within cross functional processes involving finance

• Preparation of the interim and year end consolidated financial statements and accompanying notes for the Group
• Preparation of monthly management finance reports for the UK parent company
• Manage capital investment analysis for the UK parent company
• Treasury and Cash flow management, including monthly forecasting and reporting to WHQ

• Lead the development of the accounting modules of the D365 system
• Proactively identify problems and opportunities to standardize, streamline and improve processes and accuracy.
• Keep informed of upcoming changes to accounting standards and disclosure requirements and ensuring the Group are proactively addressing these changes
• Support FD and Management Team in any other business improvement/ad hoc projects as required e.g. SAP S/4 Hana implementation

• Degree educated
• Fully qualified ACA/ACCA, with 3 + years PQE
• Practice background with industry experience in a Group Reporting / Group Finance role.
• Technical accounting (IFRS, FRS 102 and US GAAP)
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Self-motivated and hands-on approach to working; able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment and be able to operate with ambiguity
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, able to operate effectively both internally and externally at multiple levels of an organisation
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, ability to quickly understand and interpret complex information and deliver practical solutions

• Minimum 3 years work experience of Finance acquired within the FMCG sector
• D365 / SAP S/4 Hana systems knowledge
