Short Description

Rhode Island Novelty is seeking an experienced eCommerce Specialist with deep Amazon and Amazon Reseller proven experience.

We are looking for that digital marketer who can work in a high-volume environment with a wide range of styles and effectively manage the Amazon Reseller Channel.

Specific Responsibilities

• You will to the Marketing Manager.
• Your goal is to manage our Amazon presence.
• This role will entail spending much of your time using the following Amazon modules:

Seller Central

Brand Registry

Transparency

Brand Registry

• You will spend much of your day dealing with open cases in Brand Registry.
• This will involve submitting test s, pictures, and children’s product certificates that meet Amazon’s safety requirements.
• If Amazon’s requirements differ from what we have on file, you will work with our imports department to see what can be done to satisfy Amazon and restore the ASIN.

Maintaining and supporting our resellers

• This is a crucial responsibility
• This will involve providing safety documentation upon request, fielding Amazon questions that come in via phone or email, and working to correct problems that arise under our brand name that are brought to our attention.

Managing content

• This will involve creating new ASINS and updating existing ASINS with pictures, copy, and keywords with the goal of raising the listing score per Helium 10 software suggestions.

Maintaining control of our brand on Amazon

• This will include analyzing our resellers buying activities and looking for counterfeit sellers on ASINS.
• Once a suspected counterfeiter is found, you will conduct a test buy and file an infringement once a counterfeit item is received.
• Growing the Rhode Island Novelty Brand on Amazon and increasing sales year over year
• Ensuring that testing s uploaded to Amazon are accepted
• Working with external customers and internal team members to problem solve any issues that may arise and preventing issues in advance through continued ecommerce learning
• Assisting with general marketing activities when requested
• Effectively launch new items and analyze and drive continuous improvement of promotional items, best & worst performing items.

Transparency program

• This involves coordinating the labeling of goods with our imports department and overseas label producers.
• If a reseller requests labels, employee will analyze request and if labels should be created.
• Print labels in house and provide to the reseller’s salesperson. Communicating Transparency updates.

Experience

• 2-3 years’ experience managing brands on Amazon, utilizing Seller Central and brand Registry, working with testing documents
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
• Experience with managing project timelines and product quality.
• Amazon Ads/sponsored products experience required, Google or Social Media ad experience a plus
• Knowledge of Amazon Seller Central/Vendor Central/Brand Registry

• Able to manage multiple tasks and projects under tight deadlines while keeping a professional demeanor
