WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Performing complex software integration work on segment and system level.
• Integration of the software subsystems from several software components among other things in the target system (As counterpart of our developers, integrating directly on to CR3 turret hardware (without emulators/simulators).
• Supporting the technical planning and installation of the systems.
• Programming, testing and analysis of software components mainly according to architecture specifications and/or in coordination with the software teams in Rheinmetall, Bremen.
• Documentation of the software components for which you are responsible.
• Error identification and correction on site at the customer’s premises.
• Execution of specified work packages within the scope of support tasks
  • Support in setting up LDM (GVA) gateway
  • Interface is provided by Rheinmetall Bremen, UK developer team takes over the translation into LDM
• Creation and maintenance of technical documents of the system documentation as well as maintenance of technical databases.
• Execution and documentation of system and acceptance tests for our products.
• Collaboration in the further development of our test systems, test infrastructure and test methods.
• If necessary, creation of test specifications based on concrete requirements and predefined test scenarios.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

• The role holder should be able to understand the RME environment and to transfer this know-how to the system:
  • Flowing down code releases from the lab in Rheinmetall Bremen, the role holder shall implement and test the units in the turret environment.
  • Replacement of simulators, to the real CR3 interfaces.
  • Resolving any assumptions or incorrect operation of the simulators
• The role holder therefore shall be able to find and close the gap in the SW, do appropriate tests, exchange the information and so on.
• The role holders shall be able to support Rheinmetall Bremen by the translation of an in-house “RME DDS” to LDM9.x. The Translation shall be realized via an LDM Gateway.
• Current holder of UK security clearance or able to gain UK security clearance.
• Flexibility to occasionally work overseas, as required by the role.
• Available, recent references.
