The HR Operations team provides support and guidance across our National and International footprint in the areas of Payroll, Safety, Organisational & Workforce Development, Veterans Engagement, Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, Global Mobility, Health and Wellbeing, Diversity and Inclusion, Administration and IR/ER.

About the role

The Early Careers Talent Partner will be responsible for the management, coordination, development and promotion of the associated programs. You will feel comfortable engaging with a wide range of stakeholders to understand challenges and combine this with the evidence and data to solve problems.

Your proven ability to engage positively with the various business leaders, as well as your ability to develop and sustain strong relationships will drive the key to your success.

This role will require knowledge of attraction, selection and management of graduate programs, and demonstrated experience in coordinating organisation-wide projects.

A Degree or Post Graduate qualifications in a human resources related discipline and/or organisational psychology and equivalent experience and recognition in the industry will be highly sought after in order to support your success in this role.

• Support the implementation of RDA reward strategies and programs across the business to assist employee attraction, motivation and retention objectives. This includes assisting in facilitating RDA’s remuneration review process/cycle, provide advice and guidance on total rewards, conduct market bench-marking and analysis, salary structure design, salary surveys, job evaluations and general policy advice;
• Discharge safety accountabilities which include taking appropriate steps to eliminate health and safety risks and to minimise psychological injury in the workplace; educating and raising the awareness of managers of their role in minimising the risk of injury or illness in the workplace; supporting and promoting the utilisation of the Employee Assistance Program; and
• Fulfill other duties and responsibilities that may be required as determined with your manager from time to time.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:

Essential:

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business, Human Resources or a related discipline;
• Demonstrated experience coordinating and delivering strategic human resources/organisational development projects; (this may include experience within graduate/intern recruitment or program management, talent and succession management or leadership/learning and development);
• Advanced MS Office Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction and within a geographically dispersed team; and
• Ability to travel interstate when required.

Desirable:

• Strategic process improvement skills including experience managing change; and
• Member of the Australian Human Resource Institute.
