Reynolds and Reynolds Hiring for Marketing Sales Specialist at Portland, OR Full Time

Reynolds and Reynolds is seeking a Marketing Sales Specialist to join our team! Our superior products, our award-winning sales, service, and support have made us one of the most recognized and respected companies in the automotive industry.

As a Marketing Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for promoting the sale of ReminderTRAX, Targeted Marketing with Database Cleansing, a suite of paid search products and our e-newsletter, to the automotive market. You will be traveling to car dealerships within your territory to participate in sales activities to help drive the dealership’s revenue. These activities will include generating sales leads, gathering competitive intelligence, giving product demonstrations, and making proposals to potential customers. You will also plan and implement sales strategies within your region.

When you are not visiting a customer site, you will be supporting current customers from your home office, as well as planning future customer visits. We will provide you with everything you need to successfully accomplish these tasks including an iPhone, tablet, printer/scanner/copier equipment and a company car.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 1+ years sales and/or marketing related experience
• Automotive industry experience is a plus (including Service Manager, Sales Associate, Sales Manager, Internet Sales Manager)
• Ability to travel overnight about 70% of the time
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to build strong customer relationships
• Must be a self-starter with good time management skills
• Ability to close sales

Training:

Training consists of approximately 3-4 months of product and sales training both on-the-job in your territory and classroom style training at our corporate headquarters in Dayton, Ohio. You will complete courses on our products, processes, sales skills and automotive dealership operations.
