Rex Capital Advisors Hiring for Accounting and Tax Manager Job at Providence, RI Full Time

A Providence based Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm is seeking a professional for a key accounting and tax position with high visibility to partners and clients. The Firm oversees assets of over $1.5 billion for select ultra-high net worth clients.

Requirements for the position include: a Masters in Taxation or Accounting, public accounting tax experience and between 5-10 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of Quick Books, foreign tax reporting, and nonprofit accounting and tax compliance is a plus. Of course, the candidate will need to possess strong analytical, organizational, communication and Excel skills.

Candidate will be both an accounting manager and tax manager for wealthy clients, their related businesses and their estate planning entities.

In addition to a solid tax knowledge base and superb accounting skills, the successful candidate will need to be highly motivated, a self-starter with high energy, an excellent communicator, have the ability to multi-task, and possess a willingness to learn.

This position is responsible for client tax and accounting controls, tax policies and procedures, plus daily operations and management of all accounting and tax related functions (including estimated payments and coordinating tax return compliance with outside accounting firms). A key aspect of this position is working with the firm’s partners and the relevant client management teams’ on client communications related to tax, accounting and cash flow topics and managing external tax preparers to timely and accurately prepare returns.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
