Due to continued growth and the securing of new contracts, my client is looking to hire a Mechanical Design Engineer with a background in Aerospace design. My client specialises in designing and manufacturing bespoke, high value products for the aerospace sector and offers lots of training and development opportunities within the business.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a mixture of civil and military projects. This is a varied role giving you the opportunity to challenge yourself technically and develop your skills within an industry leading, global organisation.

The Role:
*2D & 3D Design for Aerospace products
*Working on a mixture of civil and military projects
*Assist delivery of the design within the defined project schedule and cost budgets
*Working with MRP system, creating Bill of Materials

The Candidate:
*Proficient in either Solidworks or Inventor
*Experience working in manufacturing – Aviation preferred
*Experience with sheet metal and machined parts – desirable
*Experience with composites and tooling – desirable
