We have an opportunity for a HR Administrator to join our friendly People and OD team to provide a first-class customer focused HR administrative service. This is a really exciting time to join us as we celebrate our 50th anniversary.
You will be responsible for the onboarding administration of our new starters including offer paperwork, references, right to work checks and DBS’. Acting as the main contact for a candidate once an offer of employment has been made, you’ll ensure they experience a seamless onboarding process to create a great first impression of our charity. You will ensure hiring managers are kept well informed on the status of their new starter, problem solving to overcome barriers or delays to onboarding where needed.
As a team, we consistently strive to enhance our processes to ensure they continue to meet customer and organisational needs. Key to this role will be for you to spot and suggest improvements to our onboarding and administrative processes. In addition, you will be responsible other HR administrative tasks including updating and publishing our structure charts, providing external reference requests, co-ordinating our team meetings, producing ID badges and answering queries that come into our recruitment inbox.
You will have outstanding customer service skills with the confidence to make decisions that best meet the needs of your customer. You’ll be a strong communicator who can adapt your approach to the recipient and be able to understand and apply policies, processes, and employment law. With your administrative experience, you will have excellent attention to detail and be able to manage a range of different prioritises. Ideally, we’d like you to have experience working within a recruitment, onboarding or HR environment.
Your role will be a homebased position; however, we’d like you to come to our Tipton office once a month to join the team for our monthly HR meeting. You will work full time, 35 hours per week on a permanent contract with a salary of £18,747.20 to £21,036.35 per annum (£21,393.30 to £23,682.46 with London weighting).
