Senior Accountant

Restaurant company looking for a top-notch Senior Accountant to join our growing team. Company operates 42 restaurants with additional growth of 30 restaurants over next three years. Responsibilities:

Performs accounting functions as assigned, including, but not limited to preparing journal entries, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, and preparation of schedules to support financials.

Oversees month-end closing, the production of period financial reports; and adherence to meeting deadlines, ensures that reported results comply with GAAP.

Responds to requests for reports and analyses from operational managers and other key internal members in a timely and professional manner.

Assist with continuous improvement, automation, and internal control initiatives in support of corporate strategies, accounting tasks and safeguard company assets.

Analyze and research various technical accounting matters, providing accurate and comprehensive documentation of issues identified and resolution reached, as well as all related adjustments and supporting calculations.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

Preferred CPA or equivalent experience.

Familiarity with accounting and corporate accounting principles and procedures.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently with strong attention to details, and ability to meet deadlines.

Multi-unit restaurant, hospitality or retail experience and Restaurant 365 is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $88,000.00 per year
