HR Business Partner

We now find ourselves with an exciting opportunity for an HR Business Partner. Reporting to the Head of People, you will be responsible for aligning ResQ business objectives with employees and management. You will focus on successful partnerships across the business to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects our objectives.
The Role:
· Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions).
· Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
· Completing engagement project work with the wider HR team as appropriate
· Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues and conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
· Ensure compliance with relevant policies and employment legislation, whilst maintaining an in-depth knowledge of industry standards and ensuring regulatory compliance.
· Collaborating with the wider HR team to develop and maintain policy to meet the future needs of the business.
· Analyses trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions, programs and policies.
· Assisting in the implementation of learning and development policies to ensure continuous improvement within the business
· Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
· Maintains an effective level of business literacy about our business strategy, ResQ’s culture and its competition.
· Working within the HR function to become an active contributor in working towards our goal of remaining a 3* Sunday Times Best Companies organisation.
· Regularly consulting with business managers and line managers to provide HR guidance when appropriate. Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
· Developing and maintaining job descriptions to meet the future needs of the business.
· Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.

· Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
· Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, with intermediate use of Excel as a minimum.
· Previous Mental Health Training is desirable but not essential.
Education and Experience Required:
· You will be CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent and have a proven track record working within a HR role.
· A minimum of 3 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues is required.
· Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including implementation of business organisational consultations, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and employment laws.
· An intermediate or above skill level of Excel would be beneficial.
