The Talent Acquisition Specialist role:

As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will take responsibility for delivering full life-cycle recruitment – identifying, acquiring, assessing, and hiring candidates to fill open positions within Refeyn against the company hiring plan. You will also be responsible for offering a positive candidate experience, from the initial application to the final onboarding process.

Responsibilities as our Talent Acquisition Specialist:

• Supporting managers with creating job descriptions, draft engaging adverts, and using these to actively source suitable candidates through popular job boards, CV databases, and LinkedIn
• Sourcing and headhunting candidates for key global hires, partnering with relevant recruitment agencies when required
• Creating, maintaining, and reviewing our PSL
• Attracting high-quality applications through the development of our employer brand and building industry and local networks
• Building talent pools and a candidate pipeline for current and future recruitment needs
• Screening CVs and creating shortlists, managing incoming applications effectively
• Scheduling and supporting the interview process alongside hiring managers
• Establishing trusted relationships with hiring managers, supporting and coaching them through the hiring process
• Proposing and implementing improvements to the internal recruitment process, including interview training, scorecards, and selection methodology
• Maintenance and key support of our ATS, including managing integrations with external job boards and LinkedIn
• Liaising with the Head of People to coordinate a seamless transfer of newly appointed employees from offer to onboarding
• Working with the Head of People to actively promote diversity and inclusion, embedding recruitment processes that reduce bias and increase equal opportunities

What we’re looking for in our Talent Acquisition Specialist:

Essential

• Previous in-house recruiter experience, preferably in a life sciences/technical industry
• Experience in building effective relationships at multiple levels of seniority
• Experience in overseas recruitment, including within the US
• Experience in delivering and embedding best practice recruitment processes
• Knowledge of ethical and professional recruitment standards along with an understanding of diversity considerations
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
• Familiarity with Office applications as well as popular social media platforms, such as Facebook and LinkedIn
• A high degree of attention to detail
• Proven verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organisation skills
• Possess a genuine passion for delivering a great candidate experience

Desirable

• Working knowledge of our current ATS, Greenhouse
• Previous experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industries
• Experience in sourcing for global roles across APAC
