RMC is hiring for a Cybersecurity Specialist to support our customer at Langley Air Force Base (Hampton, VA). The selected applicant will perform a variety of Cybersecurity and Information Assurance activities, to include:

• Implementing and enforcing all AF cybersecurity policies, procedures, and countermeasures.
• Ensuring Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) software, hardware, and firmware complies with appropriate security configuration guidelines; Establishing software training program standards.
• Leading project implementation, server installation, configuration, and administrator training.
• Ensuring proper configuration management procedures are followed prior to product implementation; Coordinating changes or modifications with the system-level ISSM, SCA, and/or Cybersecurity officials.
• Initiating protective or corrective measures, in coordination with cybersecurity managers, when a security incident or vulnerability is discovered.
• Establishing SAP/SCI/CPA security measures for vaults/simulators/cockpits/mission crew decks.
• Ensuring appropriate standardization of Technical Orders (T.O.) and Flight Information Plans (FLIP).
• Establishing program budgets as part of the POM cycle; Establishing unified acquisition strategies with other stakeholders.
• Providing guidance and assistance related to WAN installation, integration, maintenance and migration; Conduct studies and analyses of WAN-related issues.

Candidate Requirements:

Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience utilizing mobile devices with a focus on iOS and working mobile information technology topologies, to include a keen understanding of wireless routers/modems, commercial ISP and cellular services, and how to establish those services.

CompTIA Sec+, Information Assurance Training Level II, or greater certification IAW DoD 8570.01M

Security Clearance: An active DoD Top Secret security clearance is required to start. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Additional experience requirements include:

• Minimum three (3) years of experience in developing information assurance accreditation packages for networked and stand-alone systems requiring authorization official approval.
• Minimum three (3) years working knowledge of commercial mobile technology and enterprise mobile management services (i.e., mobile device management, mobile content management, and mobile application management). Specific knowledge of MobileIron, Unified Endpoint Manager, Blackberry Docs, and Acronis is beneficial.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience using CIPS, AFWAY, and other systems to acquire information technology hardware, software and services through the base contracting office or MAJCOM Acquisition Management and Integration Center IAW local, Air Force, and DoD guidance.
