Resource Innovations Hiring for Project Accountant Job at Remote Full Time

Resource Innovations is seeking a Project Accountant to join our growing team. As a Project Accountant with Resource Innovations, you will support billing, revenue, and project set-up for its US-based business units.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Review contract terms, and set up project codes, revenue formulas, billing formulas in the accounting system
• Software and services revenue recognition, including ASC 606 documentation
• Client management, including invoicing, communication with project managers and clients
• Review project financial performance, revenue recognition and billing progress
• Develop project reporting and performance analysis to improve company profitability
• Show initiative in identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing required changes
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• B.A. degree in accounting or B.A. / B.S. Degree in related field
• Minimum 1-3 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably in an engineering consulting, technology or related firms
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office systems, including Excel and Word
• Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Exceptional time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiar with a variety of accounting concepts, terminology, practices and procedures
• High level of initiative and team player who can identify and initiate process improvements
• Ability to follow through on commitments and demonstrate ownership of results
• Oracle experience, a plus
