Finance Assistant
Hours: Full Time 37.5 hours per week

We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced financial professional to work within our finance division. This is a key role in our finance team, supporting the production of our internal and external financial reporting.

The successful candidate:
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Finance Assistant will provide support and assistance in day to day operations in the full spectrum of account activities. Circa 1-3 years experience working in a busy finance position along with working knowledge of Sage 50 accounting is desirable. A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential. You will have excellent attention to detail and have the ability to multi task and prioritise a hectic workload.
Main functions of the Role:
· Oversee processing of sales and purchase invoices.
· Assist with the management of credit control and managing purchase ledger payments.
· Processing and payment of employee personal expenses.
· Processing and reconciliation of bank accounts
· Reconciling supplier accounts, and preparing supplier payment runs
· Assisting with processing of monthly payroll including journal entries and account reconciliations
