ResMed Hiring for Finance Manager – Accounting & Reporting Job at Sydney Full Time

The primary role of Accounting & Reporting function is to apply principles of accounting to manage Oracle and MYOB system flow, intercompany logistic, shipment and intercompany, revenue operations. Key deliverables include smooth revenue operations, perfect system and logistic match. The role will cover both revenue and collection functions for ANZ wholesale, ANZ retail and AU based manufacturing intercompany transactions (end to end).

Let’s talk about Responsibilities

• The primary objective of Operations Accounting specialization within Accounting & Reporting Job Family is to manage financial performance reporting and underlying costing systems for ResMed manufacturing and associated support functions.
• Key responsibilities include monthly and quarterly standard cost accounting and manufacturing cost management; compliance with SOX and other relevant legislative requirements; ensuring maintenance and development of ERP systems to continue to meet changing business needs; The function lead selects, develops, and evaluates team members to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
• Focuses on the development and implementation of strategic and operational objectives that help achieve orgnisational mission. Implements organization strategies through the effective direction and management of employees and resources.
• Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.
• Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations, without damage to the relationship.
• Manages professional employees and exercises full management authority, including performance reviews, pay decisions, recruitment, discipline, termination and other personnel actions.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 10 years of related experience.
• Adresses issues with impact beyond own team based on knowledge of own function and related disciplines.
• Analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of different factors and understanding of current business trends.
