The Instructional Designer is responsible for developing content to expand Resideo internal and customer product training and certification programs. Oversees completion of learning projects and is responsible for timely task and assignment completion. Builds industry-leading training courses to enable greater effectiveness measured through quantitative and qualitative metrics. Utilizes emergent learning theory and methodologies to effectively design solutions that support learning objectives. Conducts training needs analysis and job task analysis for widely varied projects.
Develops content through multiple formats to include PowerPoint, HTML, and Authoring software
(i.e. Lector, Articulate, Adobe Creative Suite, Word Press, etc).

Instructional Designer Responsibilities:

• Design a portfolio of multi-modal learning programs.

• Conduct training needs analysis.

• Incorporate best practice learning technologies.

• Review, edit, and test course materials.

• Maintain project documentation and course folders.

• Create content according to industry standards.

• Candidates must be able to work in the US on a full-time basis without sponsorship.

You must have:

• BA/BS degree in related field.

• 5+ years working as an instructional designer or Sr. instructional designer

• eLearning Course Creation software experience needed (Adobe Captivate, Articulate, Lectora, etc.)

• Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills needed to work multiple project concurently.

• A passion for the application of Learning & Development to solve real business needs.

Pay: $71,600.00 – $119,000.00 per year
