Finance Department is responsible for the Reserve Bank’s financial statements and taxation reporting obligations, preparing the Bank’s budget, oversees the Bank’s procurement and sourcing activities and providing a range of support services including: corporate payments, payroll, staff contracts and on-boarding and travel. Finance also manages the Bank’s Enterprise Portfolio Management Office, and oversees the Bank’s responsibilities for RB Super.
To be successful in this role, you will:

• Review purchasing and expense activities to ensure compliance with the Bank’s policies and procedures.
• Provide advice to staff and Finance management on relevant compliance requirements and maintain the issues register.
• Ensure corporate card transactions and reimbursements are compliant with the Bank’s policies and procedures.
• Perform compliance activities and reviews and monitor regular analytics and exceptions reporting.
• Provide advice to staff and management on compliance matters, including via group training.
• Ensure controls around expenditure and corporate payments remain consistent with the Bank’s policies and compliance framework.
• Maintain relevant issues registers and act as the subject matter expert for incident reporting.
• Identify process improvement opportunities which are consistent within the agreed controls framework.

Your background

• Experience with Expense Management systems (PeopleSoft Financials desirable).
• Experience providing advice on best practice compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Experience applying, policies and procedures, ideally within a financial accounting or payment transactions environment.
