RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Santé (FRQS).
Position Summary
Department / Research Program: CHAL
Perform biochemical and enzymatic assays, including sample preparation, reagent handling, and data recording.
Conduct histological work, such as tissue preparation, staining, and immunostaining, and assist with imaging and documentation.
Support rodent telemetry studies by preparing equipment, assisting trained personnel during probe implantation, and helping with postoperative monitoring and data collection.
Maintain laboratory organization, including equipment upkeep, inventory management, and adherence to safety and ethical guidelines.

Education: Master’s Degree
Field of Study: Biology or Physiology
Work Experience: Minimum one (1) year of experience
