They’re looking to expand their engineering team in the Reading office and add an experienced and talented Python engineer to their growing team.

Role and Responsibilities:

Your day-to-day work will be focused towards coding and to come up with new ideas. There is a good chance that your day-to-day responsibilities will change based on your preferences and motivation so you can be focused on what is most interesting to yourself.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Experienced creating and maintaining Python applications using modern frameworks – They use Django as a base but experience with other equivalent frameworks can be considered.
• Experience of web-based client-server applications, including using client-side code to add interactivity
• Experience with basic Linux-based system administration

Preferred Qualifications:

• Comfortable with web presentation technologies such as CSS and SVG
• Knowledge of computer networking fundamentals including IP-based communication
• Experience with virtualization technologies, e.g. VMware
• Good understanding of real-time media transport protocols
• Familiarity with SIP and WebRTC.
