This is a Full-Time, permanent position working 40 hours per week in our Seton location in SE Calgary. The schedule for this position is as follows:

Monday to Saturday with the following hours:

What Will You Be Doing?

Open the clinic, turn on all room TVs and otherwise prepare clinic to receive patients
Open cash, check/respond to emails and distribute mail
Screen and direct patients based on both scheduled appointments and walk-ins
Book patients for new and/or returning visits
Ensure all patients in waiting area are looked after and made to feel welcome
Inform patients of promotions that are currently running
Process and file patient records and billing information
Receive retail orders for inventory
Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the clinic.
Close-out clinic at the end of the day

As The Successful Candidate, You Have

Previous experience in a receptionist position with a retail/medical service provider, ideally in eye care
Comfortable using computer systems for patient booking and the MS Office Suite of products
Excellent customer service skills
Diligent and able to follow procedures to open/close clinic and maintain cleanliness
Previous experience receiving stock and taking part in inventory counts
Willing and able to support clinicians and administrative staff
An upbeat, friendly demeanor.
