RenewABILITY Energy Inc. Hiring for Manufacturing Labourer & Assembly at Kitchener, ON Full Time

A well established, locally owned, Kitchener manufacturer of specialized plumbing related products, currently looking to hire applicants for Manufacturing Production & Assembly Labourers.

The manufacturing facility is located in the Huron Business Park area of Kitchener (near former Budd Plant) and is easily accessed by the Grand River Transit system with a bus stop directly in front of our facility.

Job Qualifications or Requirements:

• Maturity, accountability, and the ability to act responsibly with minimum supervision
• Ability to follow directions thoroughly, willing to learn new tasks quickly, and show initiative in doing assigned tasks.
• Punctual for scheduled shifts and good attendance history
• A Team player with a positive attitude, show strong work ethic, and excellent verbal communication skills.
• Capable of standing for entire shifts (except breaks & lunch), lifting up to 50 lbs. repetitively, and being able to adapt to working in a fast-paced assembly environment.
• Have a mechanical aptitude, and feel comfortable using a variety of standard power and hand tools.
• Although not required, preference may be given to candidates with:
• prior metal manufacturing & assembly
• experience brazing copper products
• Preference is given to those with a valid driver’s license and clean driver abstract (driving record)

Job Details:

• Monday – Friday (day shifts)
• Voluntary Overtime frequently available
• The starting hourly rate will vary depending on relevant experience and skills

• Production Bonus Plan eligibility after 3 months
• Wednesday BBQ Lunch (company provided)
• Steel Toe & Sole Safety Footwear is required
