Renew Health Inc. is Looking for Clinic Administrator – Full Time Full Time

At Renew Health we offer Chiropractic, Physiotherapy and Massage Therapy Services. We are co-located with ADAPT Performance – a full-service Gym. We are two businesses working collaboratively under one roof – East Hants Health & Performance Centre. We have a team of health and fitness professionals that share a passion for integrating training and treatment principles. Our therapists understand training and our trainers understand therapy. Together we support our clients/patients with achieving overall health and wellness goals.

Objective:

The Clinic Administrator is responsible for handling the front-line administrative duties within a multi-disciplinary health clinic and for our co-located partner – ADAPT Performance. Front-line reception duties include but are not limited to patient scheduling and answering incoming calls, keeping records, handling insurance billing, answering and directing patients in-person and via telephone. Client service is of the utmost importance in this role. You will be responsible for informing the public about the services offered by Renew Health & ADAPT Performance.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for greeting clients and other guests to the facility
• Provide patients and clients with required paperwork and assists them with completing paperwork
• Answer incoming calls and send, receive and distribute faxes and messages to appropriate staff members
• Enter client data and client charges into computer
• Collect payments and issue receipts
• Schedule client appointments into computerized calendar
• Prepare materials for staff as appropriate
• Create and update patients’ electronic health records
• Complete and submit insurance forms/bill insurance providers
• Process payment transactions; monitor/flag account concerns
• Ensure all facility equipment is in proper working order
• Conduct routine inspection of premises and undertake necessary routine action to ensure that the facility is maintained in a tidy and clean manner
• Sort and distribute mail
• Train new staff members as required
• Contribute to team effort by covering shifts outside of regular schedule when required (covering breaks, sick and vacation time)
• Educate patients/clients on services of the facility
• Participate in community engagement events

Requirements:

• excellent computer skills
• a professional customer service attitude and front-line customer service experience in a busy environment
• able to handle confidential information in an ethical and professional manner
• strong work ethic, positive team attitude, attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
• sound problem solving, planning, prioritization, and execution skills
• self-directed and motivated – able to complete tasks without frequent prompts and efficiently
• must be willing to work a combination of morning and evening shifts – we are open 8am to 8pm
• must have clean Criminal Record check
