RenEnergy Looking for Site Supervisor at Norwich, Norfolk Full Time

Are you an experienced site manager with either electrical/roofing/civils background and want a secure career in renewable energy? We have a very successful high growth business in renewable energy industry. We are a leader in energy efficiency, being one of the largest providers of solar carports in the UK and working in renewables or the past 16 years.  As a site supervisor, you will be a key member of Project delivery providing active hands on installation support, site activity and installation management.  Your knowledge of site systems and health and safety will ensure Project planning and schedules are met through your management of installers and close relationships with Project managers.

This is an important role in the organisation; you should have experience with the following:

• Site Construction programmes – ensuring timelines/targets are adhered too
• Supervision of installation/Engineer staff ensuring works are carried out in a safe, compliant, effective and efficient manner
• Responsible for on-site HSE Conditions throughout the project, site HSE inductions, toolbox talks, risk assessments and method statements.
• Monitoring of site and installers/engineers performance
• Planning to ensure resource is available for the workload
• Attend and participate in internal management and programming meetings
• Ensure record sheets, Incident and Accident Report Forms are fully completed if applicable
• Proactively work with customers to ensure the site and workload is running smoothly
• Assist Project Managers where required to support workload and provide site presence
• Manage onsite sub-contractors as needed

Skills required:

• Pro-active and have a hands on approach
• Forward thinking / problem solving
• Recognised H&S qualification.
• SMSTS
• Good I.T and document control
• Strong Leadership skills
• Site Management: 3 years + (Preferred)
• Strong communication skills and ability to form strong working relationships.

Salary will be paid in accordance with experience.
