Rend Lake College seeks a full-time CTE Recruiter. This position will provide outreach and guidance to potential CTE students; visit area high schools and speak with groups; meet with students individually; collaborate with school counselors to promote recruitment activities; arrange visits from prospective students and family members. The successful candidate will provide information regarding admission requirements and program benefits to prospective students and parents; assist in coordinating special events and supportive services relevant to CTE; create and maintain a database; maintain confidentiality; attend relevant meetings and conferences; ensure compliance with CTE specific grants; prepare follow-up s; maintain time and effort ing; maintain general knowledge of RLC programs, procedures and personnel; and other duties as assigned. //50 week, non-tenured track position.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s Degree in related field required.
· Ability to engage and build relationships with underserved and disadvantaged students and prospective students.
· Excellent oral and written communications skills required, including the ability to address and present to groups of people.
· Previous experience in similar position preferred.
· Employment contingent upon successfully passing a background screening process.
