Title: Software Developer

Location: Reasonable proximity to main facilities (Boulder, CO; Jersey Shore, PA; Grand Rapids, MI;
Kansas City, MO)

Renaissance Solutions is looking for a motivated, self-directed developer to assist with development and implementation of software solutions shaping the company’s data flow and analysis. Responsibilities:

• Provide application software development services or technical support typically in a defined project
• Develop program logic for new applications or analyze and modify logic in existing applications
• Code, test, debug, document, implement and maintain software applications
• Design stable, reliable and effective databases
• Optimize and maintain legacy systems
• Modify databases according to requests and perform tests
• Solve database usage issues and malfunctions
• Liaise with developers to improve applications and establish best practices
• Gather user requirements and identify new features
• Develop technical and training manuals
• Provide data management support to users
• Ensure all database programs meet company and performance requirements
• Research and suggest new database products, services and protocols
• Other duties as needed

At a minimum, here’s what you need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering or similar degree
• Experience in using Python and MySQL
• Development and product support experience
• Experience working on production level code
• Understanding of code repositories and tools to test and deploy version-controlled code
• Experience using Restful API, Windows server and linux based environments

Some other things that would help us be successful together:

• Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration through various technologies like docker and kubernetes
• Experience with database clustering and other high availability mechanics
• Experience with JavaScript, JQuery and AJAX a plus
• Background or experience in supply chain management
• Experience handling and managing workflows through ticketing systems such as Jira

Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
