Job Description
Benefit Management
Manage and maintain relationships with all our core benefit providers to ensure Renaissance is receiving best value for money with all chosen benefit suppliers.
Analyse current benefits including competitiveness, usage, services, coverage, effectiveness, cost, and employee experience.
Be the lead stakeholder in discussions with our benefit broker and suppliers, to ensure that we are receiving optimal service and high standards at all times
Undertake the annual renewal process to agree best possible rates, and manage spend appropriately
Work with our US benefit team to ensure alignment in our ways of working and vendor contracting where possible
Continue to review and monitor the success of our current benefit packages, and review and improve these where appropriate
Pro-actively build awareness of our benefit offering across the business; developing communication materials; communicating key messages and seeking feedback to deliver future enhancements.
Manage the onboarding and offboarding of employees into our different benefit schemes to ensure that employees experience a smooth transition
Manage all associated renewal windows for employees
Keep up to date with external market changes (market practice/employment law/regulation) which might impact benefit practices within the Company.
Payroll
Ensure all monthly payroll data is submitted to our US Payroll team in line with the key payroll cut off deadlines each month.
Collate all monthly payroll data and validate this against employees’ files to ensure accuracy.
Review the monthly GTN file to ensure all data has been processed accurately and pick up on any errors that may occur
Support employee queries relating to items on their payslips
HR Reporting
Manage monthly holiday reporting to finance, ensuring the data is sent promptly and is checked for accuracy
Manage sickness reporting, to enable the HR team to be able to monitor absence trends and ensure compliance with our internal policies
Support in maintaining the accuracy of our HR data in all relevant systems, together with the US HR team
Qualifications
Prior experience of working in a fast paced, high-volume environment with multiple changing priorities. Experience of working in a business experiencing high volumes of change is desirable.
Comfortable in getting “hands on” with operational HR work when required and enjoys being part of a hard-working team.
Experience of managing company benefits, including renewals, benchmarking exercises and benefit review programmes
Effective at streamlining and improving overall processes in order to achieve efficiencies across the HR department.
Experience of managing and processing payroll information
Well-developed communication skills in order to be effective with all stakeholders, including effective presentation skills.
Understand what good HR practice looks like but be flexible and commercial in the approach of implementing this.
Able to build trust quickly and prove credibility. Be an ambassador for cultural development.
Numerate and comfortable with payroll and reward management.
Comfortable working with all levels of stakeholders across the business, and the ability and experience of coaching others.
