Requirements

Position requires a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field and three years of human resources experience with recruiting experience preferred.

PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM / SCP is also preferred. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.

Position also requires excellent written, verbal and analytical communication skills; consulting skills and the ability to influence leaders at all levels, coaching and mentoring skills;

analytical and systems thinking; excellent relationship management; and the ability to identify and resolve problems using independent judgment.

Ability to travel 10% of the time.

Ideal candidates will also possess experience with : one or more applicant tracking systems; experience recruiting across multiple discipline areas and levels, experience working in multiple areas of sourcing;

conducting job fairs; and experience developing and executing targeted recruitment plans highly preferred.

Job Summary :

In this role you will forecast positions, source, recruit, interview, and support the selection of candidates to meet hiring goals.

Primary Job Responsibilities :

• Forecasts and develops staffing initiatives by partnering with leadership and Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs).
• Manages the full life cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals across all levels of the organization.
• Partners with hiring managers and interview teams to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.
• Maintains regular follow up with respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timelessness of the recruitment process in order to meet goals and objectives.
• Implements strategic recruiting initiatives based on best practices for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-location organization.

Identifies and cultivates external relationships with diversity focused organizations.

• Maintains strong professional relationships with high schools, trade schools, colleges and universities, and networks with other professional recruiters and agencies for future sourcing of high-quality candidates.
• Implements strategies to attract passive job seekers to include : job board aggregators, online searches and techniques, social media, networking, employee referral campaigns, university recruitment, job fairs, and others.
• Represents the Delta Dental brand and understands, embraces, and promotes the company’s culture and core values throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
• Implements processes to increase Talent Acquisition productivity and results through utilization of tools and new technologies in order to optimize selection and recruitment.
• Actively participates in staffing related activities and engages in cross functional projects.
• Assists with Organizational Development on employee experience initiatives throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Contributes to data integrity within the applicant tracking system, managing candidate’s movement through the recruitment process to minimize time to fill and provide a world-class candidate experience.
