THE ROLE:

The successful candidate must have proven world-class experience in managing account objectives, strategies, and problem solving while consistently ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will bring to the expanding organization commercial excellence, market intelligence, problem solving with a laser focus on building and maintaining customer relationships. The senior account manager must excel at finding and closing new business, maintain and build on current relationships and be able to command presence with their strong business acumen and industry knowledge within the Automotive and Tier manufacturing markets. SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain and develop customer relationships within existing account base
• Develop and acquire new customer accounts, grow sales, and develop new sales prospects
• Develop, lead, and implement a strategic business development and sales commercial strategy for existing and new business opportunities
• Lead, support and manage key events at assigned accounts and represent the company at select industry trade shows, seminars and associations to promote reputation of the company in the marketplace; establish personal credibility and respect as industry leader
• Identify key business leaders/decision makers; build and maintain long-term relationships with VP and C suite level influencers and buyers
• Lead contract negotiations with respective accounts and ensure conclusion of sales contracts
• Conduct market research in order to develop a commercial business plan on new product/services development
• Understand customer mission to align and propose appropriate services/solutions
• Lead resolution of customer commercial issues/disputes
• Establish proactive communication and relationship that promotes confidence and trust
• Interface with customers and prospects at all levels and with internal team including Operations, Quality/IT, Purchasing and Finance
• Ensure customer demands/requests are managed through the appropriate internal processes such that all responses are timely and consistent with our commercial policy.
• Identify business development opportunities
• regularly on sales and solution delivery pipeline performance against budget and projected future activity; strategic goals and progress

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or Supply Chain Management
• 7+ years of sales leadership working directly, preferably in a Manufacturing/Engineering environment
• Experience and knowledge of emerging industry CRM platforms;/technology trends , features and functionality; preferably Salesforce
• Proven track record in growing existing customer relationships, new business development, achievement of quota goals and managing personal sales strategies
• Strong “hunter” mentality, commercial business acumen and drive to challenge the status quo
• Proven ability to proactively develop,, manage and encourage a solution minded sales approach
• Strong facilitation, negotiation, problem-solving and presentation skills
• Ability to function effectively at both the strategic and tactical levels in the performance of this role
• Proactive communicator with excellent writing skills and the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from ownership, senior management, employees, and customers at all levels
• Ability to understand and identify key market trends, with strategic market development experience
• Able to assimilate into a fun, team oriented and highly collaborative work culture
• High energy, teamwork, and passion for development and growth

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
