Remx is seeking to assist our client with filling two open roles in their call center for Dispatchers.

Title : Dispatcher- Call Center Representative

Location : Onsite and Temp to Hire

1- 3rd Shift- 12a to 8a EST Tuesday through Saturday

Pay Rate : $18.00 / hr. with opportunities to work overtime and extra shifts.

Summary :

The Dispatch position will be the first point of contact responsible for assisting in all aspects of the operation.

Responsibilities :

• Answer phones regarding various questions involving tracking, trace, border crossing (Canada and Mexico) and assist lost drivers (typically on new routes)
• Managing any calls regarding departed drivers. No management of drivers just routes. Any calls beyond that are sent back to the terminal. No Driver Management!
• Assist Central Dispatcher with the displacement of freight and drivers.
• Ability to comprehend and relay track and trace details to callers (vendors) and drivers alike.
• Manage mostly inbound calls with some outbound calls. Most outbound communication is completed via email and chat.

Qualifications :

• H.S. diploma / GED required
• 1-3 years’ experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse, or related field.
• Three (3) years or more experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse, or related field required.
• The ability to embrace and utilize Technology as part of your daily routine is crucial.
• Border crossing experience a plus.
