Job Overview:

We are seeking a part-time Remote Medical Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a strong understanding of medical terminology and scheduling procedures. This is a remote position, so the ability to work independently and manage time effectively is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

– Schedule patient appointments for healthcare providers using our scheduling software

– Communicate with patients to confirm appointments and provide necessary information

– Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate scheduling and timely patient care

– Maintain patient records and update as needed

– Follow up with patients to reschedule missed appointments or schedule follow-up appointments

– Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

– High school diploma or equivalent

– 1-2 years of experience in a medical scheduling role

– Strong understanding of medical terminology and scheduling procedures

– Excellent communication and customer service skills

– Proficient in using scheduling software and other computer programs

– Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

– Detail-oriented and organized

– Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Contract Details:

This is a part-time, remote position with flexible hours. The contract length will be determined based on the needs of the company. The selected candidate will be required to have their own computer and reliable internet connection.
