Remedy are searching for a passionate learning mentor to help students overcome challenges and succeed both academically and personally at one of our Westminster schools.

As a Learning Mentor, your primary role will be to provide individualised support to students, promoting their emotional well-being and enhancing their learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Mentoring and guiding the students in their behavioural development
• Assisting students with SEMH to set and achieve personal and educational targets
• Implement strategies to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours
• Be a positive role model, helping students build confidence and self-esteem

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Behaviour or Learning Mentor is preferred
• Experience in SEN, challenging behaviour, coaching, or youth work is also highly desirable
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of young people
• Empathetic, patient, and resilient nature
