The Group Compensation team supports the Global Head of HR and the RELX Remuneration Committee on all aspects relating to executive remuneration and the operation of the executive share plans. This includes formulation and communication of the remuneration policy and the application of it to the most senior executives worldwide (approx.100); operating the annual reward cycle for this group of executives and other employees participating in the share based plans and annual remuneration reporting. The team works closely with HR and reward colleagues in the business units, the company secretariat, Group finance, Group tax and Treasury and the global mobility centre of excellence, and supports senior business and functional leaders globally.
Group Compensation is currently made up of the Head of Executive Compensation, the Head of Executive Share Plans, the Share Plan Analyst and the Executive Compensation Analyst.
Job Purpose
This role would be the perfect developmental role for any candidate looking to gain or expand knowledge of the design, implementation and operation of a remuneration policy as it impacts the board and senior executive management in a large and complex multi-national corporate. The core focus of the role is to support the Head of Executive Compensation on all aspects of executive remuneration with an emphasis on the annual reward cycle, annual external remuneration reporting and disclosures, supporting the preparation of remuneration committee papers and remuneration benchmarking and managing the data submission to executive surveys. The post holder will be an integral part of the small but dynamic Group Compensation team and will have the ability to impact and shape how we service our internal customers to the highest standard within an evolving and dynamic reward/HR organisation.
