In the Digital Strategy Executive role, you’ll primarily be working directly with new prospects/leads to build relationships, understand their goals and objectives, identify the right mix of digital marketing solutions for them by working with our internal team and then presenting the campaign proposals. You will then assist internal teams to onboard these new clients, working with operational teams to ensure a smooth transition and maintain strong relationships between the client and Reload.

You’ll have the ability to flex a unique mix of skills including strategic thinking, creative marketing & project management all while cultivating authentic relationships with the internal teams, clients and external agency partners.

Remuneration: $50,000 – $55,000 + Super base, plus commissions on sales.

Flexibility: After the 6 month probation period, you are able to take advantage of our flexible working options including WFH and flexible hours, to best suit your lifestyle. This is only available after your probation period to maximise support and adhoc training as you’re learning the ropes!

• This position is well suited to a recent marketing graduate or someone with 1-2 years’ hands-on marketing experience looking to build a career specialising in Performance Marketing. In return, you’ll receive extensive training across all areas of digital marketing, while working in a supportive and fun agency environment. What This Means You’ll Be Doing

Building Relationships & Personal Brand

• People buy from people, so jumping on the phone or getting in front of prospective clients as much as possible to build that personal relationship
• Being ethical in what we put forward, only ever presenting what we truly believe the client needs to achieve their goals
• Always providing a lasting positive experience, even if they aren’t a right fit for Reload now or they need something that we don’t offer.
• Becoming a trusted advisor for prospective clients before they become a client of Reload and maintaining that relationship once they are a client, feeling like the client can come to you for anything
• This role is somewhat independent, but you need collaboration with the wider team so creating your own personal brand within Reload supports you in the role as everyone wants to work on new business with you
• You’ll be able to attend events that Reload host and that we’re invited to, connecting with industry leaders, partners & prospective clients. These include but are not limited to Tech partner Roadshows, Shopify Meetups all around Australia, Ecommerce Leaders Lunches & Online Retailer Conference

Developing Impactful and Holistic Digital Strategies

• Leading the strategic vision for the prospective lead and ensuring all elements of the teams recommendations are aligning with that
• Asking smart questions to truly understand the problem that the prospective clients are facing within their business
• Working with the wider team to create digital strategies and tactics that support your client’s goals
• Diving into data and analytics to develop your own hypothesis which can then influence your overall strategic approach
• Creating customised initial research documents, proposals & presentations to explain your thinking and present this to the prospective client
• Be ready to pivot based on feedback, insight or industry knowledge either from the team of the prospective client

Managing your Pipeline

• Claiming new leads when they come directly to Reload (all inbound, no cold calling)
• Setting up discovery calls with new leads and looping in any relevant team members
• Putting together & presenting initial research documents that showcase the problem, current state, potential recommendations & discussion points
• Putting together proposals & strategy documents that include a strategic vision, tactics to achieve that, the team & pricing
• Presenting or pitching our approach to the prospective client, this could include a marketing manager, GM, owner or the board of a business
• Nurturing your prospective clients if they aren’t yet ready to work with Reload and maintaining that relationship & positive experience with yourself and Reload so when they are ready, they know who to call

This works out to be around 3 new deals created, 5 calls, 2 proposals and maybe 20 contacts worked via email per week. This varies massively depending on your week with peaks and troughs throughout a month but this is an indicative average.  

Who We’re Looking For 

• A tertiary qualification (or similar) in a relevant field. I.e. advertising, marketing, business, communication, etc.
• Living and breathing digital marketing, a passion for data, and strong analytical skills
• A ‘can-do’ attitude that can be applied to your clients’ work, the team around you and the business as a whole
• A customer-centric attitude and a willingness to constantly exceed client expectations – you’ll need to be able to build rapport with clients and work well within a team environment. 
• Great communication skills – you’ll need to be able to meet with your clients and communicate about your strategy, work and results
• A good understanding of project and time management, and the ability to be flexible with your work and your deliverables
