DRIVER RECRUITER
Relco Systems, Inc., is looking for an energetic, personable and results-driven candidate for a new Driver Recruiter position located in our Lockport, NY office. The Driver Recruiter will be highly organized and eager to pursue creative new methods to recruit and retain commercial truck drivers as well as warehouse and maintenance staff. Candidates for this position should expect a fast-paced team environment focused on developing relationships to benefit company recruiting and retention.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support recruiting and retention efforts broadly, including developing driver relationships and coordinating with management to address driver problems
• Utilize new and traditional hiring strategies to recruit and retain logistics personnel
• Coordinate digital and social media recruiting campaigns
• Schedule candidate interviews in coordination with hiring managers
• Maintain all documentation as needed by the company
• Learn and maintain organization in company software systems
• Develop full understanding of company pay and benefits and effectively communicate compensation to recruits
• Develop understanding of key logistics documentation, including MVRs and DAC Reports
• Other projects and tasks assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience recruiting within the transportation industry and understanding of social media recruiting tactics are strongly desired
• Qualified candidates must be effective communicators who are not afraid of the phone
• Ability to work in dynamic, fast paced environment, and keep up with a high volume of activity
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
• Prior recruiting experience preferred, but not required
• Understanding of social media and new media recruiting strategies is preferred

• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite and computer skills generally
