About The Position
DiningRD is actively seeking a Registered Dietitian/s for skilled care communities and assisted living communities. This position may be shared or filled by one RD. Candidate must be able to complete onsite visits Monday-Friday during regular business hours. Part time and Full time positions available. This position earns competitive pay depending on experience and current needs.
Requirements
- Commission on dietetic registration (CDR) credentials
- Licensed (if required by State)
- CDR # from ASCEND/Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (Required)
- State License, if required for a Registered Dietitian (Required)
- Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to represent the company in a professional manner
- Enjoy coaching and mentoring others
Nice To Haves
- 2 years of consulting experience is preferred
- Experience in Long Term Care preferred but not required
- clinical nutrition: 2 years (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Improve the lives of seniors by ensuring their meals meet high nutritional standards.
- Work closely with the clinical team to monitor the nutritional needs of the residents.
- Provide nutrition education.
- Work on an MDS with the team.
- Formulate nutrition assessments with input from the dining manager.
- Provide guidance on all dining services, including meal rounds and sanitation best practices.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Train and provide guidance to dining managers and staff.
- Assist with policy development.
- Monitor the implementation of effective nutritional care systems.
