The Student Records team ensures that the data on each student record is correct throughout their studies and provides specialised advice to front-facing teams so that they can advise and support students accurately. We are seeking a Student Records Officer to develop a thorough understanding of the structural design of specific programmes, including the regulations necessary to facilitate student’s progression throughout, ensuring that all programme specific requirements are met.
You will require a high amount of precision and the ability to retain a substantial amount of specialised knowledge. You will also add students to modules and process any changes made to records (such as breaks in studies, internal transfers, and so on).
This is a key role within the Registry, requiring expertise and knowledge of all Regent’s University programmes spanning across Foundation, Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels.
To be successful, you will have a background working in academic administration within a Higher Education environment. You can speak to your experiences of using SITS (or other equivalent student databases) in respect to student and programme data. You will be a strong communicator, with good interpersonal skills, able to liaise with students and staff at all levels. You will also have good time management skills and the ability to work within a high pressure, customer contact environment.
