The role
The main purpose of this role is to provide a business partnering approach to the accounts payable ledger. The post holder will process transactions for purchase order matching and prepare for payment, they will also prepare Sundry Payments.
They will be responsible for building relationships with suppliers and internal departments to ensure that invoices are matched to purchase orders or approved and follow up on variances.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced finance professional with experience in a purchase ledger-based role. They will be a competent Microsoft office user especially excel with good numerical, written and verbal skills. They will also have the ability to reconcile and organise volumes of data.
Experience of working in a regulated sector and on different accounting systems is desirable.
This position will be considered for flexible or part-time working patterns and benefits from additional flexibility through our hybrid office / home working model.
