Refresh Mental Health Hiring for Medical Support Staff at Lincoln, RI Full Time

We are currently seeking a Medical Support Staff (full-time) at our Lincoln, Rhode Island location.

The Medical Support Staff is the hub of the prescriber team. Daily tasks include adding new patients, managing existing patients, supporting prescriber productivity and satisfaction, promoting RCM success, and successfully communicating with patients, families, and referral sources.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Compensation:

• $44,000 to $49,920 annually based on experience

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (required)
• Warm, intelligent, articulate, detail-oriented
• Comfortable with technology
• Willing to learn and grow in the position

Beneficial Skills & Experience:

• Collaborate generally with the rest of the Prescriber Support Team
• Answer incoming calls from patients
• Schedule patient appointments
• Read New Patient Packets and match them to accepting clinicians
• Verify insurance benefits
• Obtain authorizations
• Serve as the dedicated admin for ~8 prescribers, specifically
• Dedicated admins manage their clinicians’ schedules, new patient flow, and administrative tasks such as phone calls, paperwork, follow-up on lab work or medical record requests, etc.
• As Psychiatric Coordinator, serve as the point of contact (liaison) to the rest of the team (administrative and clinical) for the Prescriber Support Team
