Refresco North America Hiring for Forklift Operator at Dunkirk, NY Full Time

Warehouse Forklift Operator

8 hour

2nd shift:

3pm-11:30pm

3rd shift:

11pm-7:30am

Weekends are required.

Rates starting at $17/hour.

Job Requirements:
Unload raw materials from incoming trucks and put in designated areas. Check count of incoming raw materials
Load trucks with the proper raw materials. Check amounts of product as loading
Load truck with the proper finished goods. Check amounts of product as loading
Ability to operate stand-up, VNA, propane, &/or electric forklifts in a high paced environment and be forklift certified
Supply bottles to the production lines
Check forklift for oil, water, etc. every day before starting up the machine. Add oil, water, etc. as necessary
Perform any other driving activities as directed by supervision
Clean / Maintain their work areas at the end of their shift
Have an understanding of SQF, responsible for Food Safety /Food Quality and to notify a person with the authority to take action for any Food Safety or Food Quality issue
Represents the company in a positive manner at all times
Must be available to work overtime when needed
Properly adhere to Company policies and all safety requirements, including Personal Protective Equipment requirements on the job
Qualifications:
Ability to read and write English, job instructions
Must be able to perform basic computer functions
Qualified associate must learn to operate VNA
Qualified associate must be forklift certified
The associate must occasionally lift and/or maneuver more than 50 pounds
