With a strong order book, Refeyn’s growth is continuing to accelerate – requiring increasingly higher shipment volumes worldwide and improved focus on incoming deliveries, especially from Europe.

The Role

We are looking for a proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist to take responsibility for delivering full life-cycle recruitment – identifying, acquiring, assessing, and hiring candidates to fill open positions within Refeyn against the company hiring plan.

As the public face of the company during the recruiting process, the Talent Acquisition Specialist is also responsible for offering a positive candidate experience, from the initial application to the final on-boarding process.

Reporting to the Head of People, this role will also implement other Talent Acquisition initiatives and projects alongside their normal hiring duties, including employer branding, referral schemes and establishing best recruitment practices.

Responsibilities

• Support managers with creating job descriptions, draft engaging adverts and using these to actively source suitable candidates through popular job boards, CV databases and LinkedIn
• Source and headhunt candidates for key global hires, partnering with relevant recruitment agencies when required
• Create, maintain and review our PSL
• Attract high quality applications through development of our employer brand and building industry and local networks
• Build talent pools and a candidate pipeline for current and future recruitment needs
• Screen CVs and create shortlists, managing incoming applications effectively
• Schedule and support the interview process alongside hiring managers
• Establish trusted relationships with hiring managers, supporting and coaching them through the hiring process
• Propose and implement improvements to the internal recruitment process, including interview training, scorecards and selection methodology
• Maintenance and key support of our ATS, including managing integrations with external job boards and LinkedIn
• Liaise with the Head of People to coordinate a seamless transfer of newly appointed employees from offer to onboarding
• Work with the Head of People to actively promote diversity and inclusion, embedding recruitment processes that reduce bias and increase equal opportunities

Requirements

• Experience Required

  • Previous in-house recruiter experience, preferably in a life sciences/technical industry
  • Experience in building effective relationships at multiple levels of seniority
  • Experience of overseas recruitment, including within the US
  • Experience of delivering and embedding best practice recruitment processes
  • Knowledge of ethical and professional recruitment standards along with an understanding of diversity considerations
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Familiarity with Office applications as well as popular social media platforms, such as Facebook and LinkedIn
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Possess a genuine passion for delivering a great candidate experience

  Desirable

  • Working knowledge of our current ATS, Greenhouse
  • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industries
  • Experience of sourcing for global roles across APAC

  Remuneration and Benefits

  £40,000-£50,000, depending on experience
