ReEnergy Stratton LLC Hiring for Auxiliary Operator at Stratton, ME Full Time

ReEnergy seeks dedicated individuals as a Auxiliary Operator, who, while ing to the Shift Supervisor, will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the facility operations in the field on a continuous basis. The Auxiliary Operator (AO) will operate the boilers, turbines, air pollution control equipment and other associated power plant auxiliaries in a safe and efficient manner, compliant with all State and federal regulations, and company policies and procedures. Additional duties will include performing daily chemistry testing, preventative maintenance of assigned equipment, housekeeping and other duties as may be needed in order to support facility demands.

Auxiliary Operator Requirements:

• Ability to work a rotating 12 hour shift schedule with overtime and occasional call-ins.
• Ability to provide clear oral and written communication skills as well as, effectively communicate with and take direction from other plant personnel/supervisors.
• Experience with the use and development of operating procedures, ability to read blue prints, P&ID’s, vendor manuals and other reference materials.
• Ability to use analytical process in identifying and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.
• Capable of managing critical events and prioritize in an emergency, providing clear direction in operational, safety, and environmental tasks.
• Ability to work in closed quarters and confined spaces; climb ladders and structures; lift and carry up to 50 pounds; and tolerate heights and high temperatures.
• Thorough understanding of the Auxiliary Operator and Fuel Handler duties and responsibilities, and be capable of standing watch in any of these subsidiary positions.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Perform assigned duties in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
• An active State of Maine High Pressure Steam Engineer License
