We are currently looking for a Help Desk Technician to work out of our Toronto office.

Position Overview:

This position requires a self-starting individual who can take direction but does not require it.

The individual should have excellent communication skills and a thorough understanding of PC hardware/software and Microsoft products.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on Help Desk level 1 support for employees and assist in troubleshooting and resolving challenges.
• Prepare laptops for new employees.
• Take inventory and order equipment as needed.
• Remote and in-person troubleshooting and resolution.
• Track licenses for different software used within the company. Basic configurations and supporting internal employees.
• Successfully manage a high volume of emails/tickets, MS Teams chat or calls, effectively troubleshoot, and escalate.
• Provide quality customer support.
• Perform PC installations/configurations.
• Assist with on-site projects when required.
• Clearly present technical information as needed.
• Maintain relationships with vendors via excellent communication techniques
• Perform support duties through help desk software, such as TeamViewer in addition to other remote access desktop programs.

Requirements:

• Excellent time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution.
• Knowledge of Windows-based networking and troubleshooting.
• University or College diploma or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years of Level 1 Helpdesk troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge and proven skills for Windows Server (2012+), Active Directory, Azure AD, Exchange or O365 etc.
• Excellent Internet Connectivity troubleshooting skills
• Ability to troubleshoot printers
• Experience with ticketing systems.
• Experience with Installation and maintenance of hardware/software.
• Solid experience in VPN and remote assistance.
• Experienced with End User Productivity Tools (MS Office, SharePoint, O365 etc).
