Inventory Forecaster

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our clients Logistics Team as an Inventory Planner. Their Logistics Team is responsible for Working within a team providing support for Field Sales and Internal/External customers, ensuring all aspects of the business is being complete effectively. As an Inventory Planner, you will assume responsibility for creating effective inventory plans for the organisation, monitor and maintain inventory activities into the company databases. In addition, you will liaise with all warehouses; ensuring inventories are updated in a timely manner and picked on confirmation of reconciliation, Assist Logistics manager where appropriate and Assist Logistics manager where appropriate.

• Keep NGSI (Non-Goodset Inventory) under the target.
• 100% inventory accuracy
• Prompt and regular inventory reconciliation
• A high level of Excel usage is absolutely Essential (for Pivot Tables and Vlook-ups)

Duties

• Create the effective inventory plans for the organisation.
• Maintain updated files about inventory that is used or moved to avoid possible discrepancies.
• Receive returned products and keep records about final inventory level.
• Monitor inventory activity into company databases.
• Complete daily transactions and link them to the appropriate departments.
• Assist supervisors with inventory replenishing tasks.
• Participation in company meetings, suggesting the better methods to handle current inventory and improve the use of company resource.
• Provide accurate lead time and inventory information to the related department
• Maintain and update the inventory, escalating any issues to the appropriate department / 3PL.
