Reed Finance Hiring for Senior Finance Business Partner at Leeds Full Time

Reed Finance are working with a public sector client in the centre of Leeds in the search for a Senior Finance Business Partner. Acting as an advisor to leadership, supporting business decision making through a combination of analytical insights and strategic acumen. You will break down the barrier between finance and management to support organisational growth and delivery of objectives.

ing into Head of Finance your key responsibilities will include: 

•    Developing and overseeing the Directorate business partnering function, ensuring the Director and all budget holders within the Directorate are fully supported in their financial understanding through the provision and interpretation of meaningful financial information

•    Providing Directorates with both challenge and support, helping to deliver innovative solutions to funding problems

•    Driving change in behaviour of budget holders and supporting organisational growth 

•    Establishing regular performance review processes with Directorates, understanding performance and driving management action

•    Providing detailed financial insight to link financial and business strategies, supporting organisational budgeting, forecasting and ing

•    Embedding within Directorates financial controls and control processes

•    Identifying process inefficiencies and driving improvement programmes

You will be able to demonstrate: 

•    Significant and demonstrable senior level practical experience

•    A qualified accountant CIMA, ACCA or ACA

•    Practical experience of successfully performing in a similar role

•    Demonstrable experience of managing and championing change successfully

•    Strong communication skills with the proven ability to influence, negotiate and challenge

•    Experience of making compelling business cases/ s to a range of audiences
