Are you a Bookkeeping whizz, a master of Xero, a specialist in developing client relationships and have an exceptional eye for detail?

Your role as Bookkeeper is a crucial part to the success of the business, a firm of chartered accountants located in the Cambridge area.
In this hybrid position, you will draw on your experience within an accounting firm or a business with multiple subsidiaries to provide an all-round bookkeeping function to a range of clients, companies from all sectors, of all sizes, making your job varied and interesting.
Managing your own portfolio your tasks will include processing limited company, sole trader, and partnership records, creating and administering CIS returns on a monthly basis, preparing VAT returns, and assist on adhoc assignments when required.
To be considered your experience will show undertaking these duties for clients of an accountancy practice working to UK regulations. We may consider those working in industry who are providing various subsidiaries of a group with the same tasks.
You will, however, need to be fluent with Xero as this is the primary system the business uses. Knowledge of other software such as Quickbooks, Sage etc, will be useful but is not as essential as Xero.
The role requires a high attention to detail, exceptional organisational and communication skills, with the flair to develop sound relationships with both other team members and clients.
