A Cleaning Supervisor is required on a permanent basis for our well-established client in logistics services industry:

Permanent, Full-time Job.

• Location: Kingsbury, North-West London, NW9. Office based with some field work for spot checks etc. NW9

• Working hours: 5 working days, 40h/week. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

• Payment: £24,000 – 26,000 / annual salary (depends on skills and experience)

• Start date: ASAP

Must have supervising experience and domestic cleaning background. 

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join the team as the Short-Term Rental Head of Housekeeping. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of housekeeping operations for our short-term rental properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional attention to cleanliness and detail, and the ability to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for the guests.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

• Lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring they are well-trained and motivated to maintain high cleanliness standards.

• Schedule and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency.

Cleaning Operations:

• Develop and implement cleaning protocols and standards to maintain a consistently high level of cleanliness in all short-term rental properties.

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to cleaning standards and identify areas for improvement.

Inventory Management:

• Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and other housekeeping materials.

• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of necessary supplies.

Quality Control:

• Implement quality control measures to assess the cleanliness and overall condition of properties.

• Address guest feedback and resolve any housekeeping-related issues promptly.

Training and Development:

• Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for housekeeping staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

• Stay informed about industry best practices and incorporate them into the training program.

Communication:

• Maintain open and effective communication with property management, maintenance, and other relevant departments.

• Act as a point of contact for guests regarding housekeeping-related inquiries and concerns.

Budget Management:

• Assist in developing and managing the housekeeping budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high-quality standards.

Health and Safety Compliance:

• Ensure that all housekeeping activities comply with health and safety regulations.

• Implement and enforce proper safety protocols for the housekeeping team.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a housekeeping or cleaning management role, preferably in the hospitality industry.

• Strong leadership and organisational skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

• Knowledge of cleaning protocols, materials, and equipment.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
