Reporting to the ANZ Financial Controller & Company Secretary we are looking for a part time Assistant Accountant.

About the Opportunity

• Assist finance team with the monthly accruals, journals, fixed assets and depreciation schedules
• Assist to manage the general ledger including monthly reconciliations.
• Respond to financial enquiries by gathering, analysing, summarising and interpreting data.
• Assist Finance Team with Oracle maintenance including, reviewing and identifying Oracle / Integration system issues
• Oracle month end maintenance and support
• Liaison with external Auditors
• Assist in preparation of monthly financial reports covering balance sheet, profit and loss, internal management reports and cashflow statements.
• Assist with the preparation of year end statutory accounts and ensure accounting standards and policies are adhered to

About You

At Reece, attitude is key we’d like to hear from you if you have the following:

• You are currently studying accounting/commerce/finance or have and/or have 2 years’ experience and previous use of accounting software.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills and a solutions oriented approach.
• Advanced Excel skills relevant to accounting.
• Confident and effective communication skills
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to work to multiple deadlines
• A true team player within a remote team structure
