OTM Solution Architect

Environment: Remote, Travel Required up to 20%

Status: Salaried; Exempt

Work Schedule:

This position is full-time and remote Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with an hour break, but flexibility is available based on coverage.

Purpose of Your Work:

As a Solutions Architect you will be responsible for quickly adapting to situations and learning on the fly to support client projects.

How You Make a Difference Everyday:

• Participate in and/or lead discovery sessions with client and document as-is processes
• Create “to-be” business process designs that meet customer (external and internal) requirements and provide for dynamic management of freight
• Perform Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) configuration to satisfy project requirements
• Work with the customer manager to manage delivery of solutions on time and within budget according to all business requirements identified for the project
• Perform solution design, including directing other team members and identification of mitigation strategies for project related issues
• Focus on standardized/reusable solution design for implementation efficiency
• Work independently to define scope and implement smaller solutions for clients
• Perform business process and functional audits and provide suggestions to improve the use of Oracle Transportation Management, OTM, to meet the client’s needs
• Document test scripts and test OTM application
• Provide Post go-live support for each client implementation
• Perform and support training for end users
• Assist with analysis and tool development to improve transportation planning at the operational and tactical level
• Work closely with the project team to ensure we are completing tasks within the project time constraints

You’ve Got This?

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Systems or related experience
• 3-5 years of Supply Chain experience
• 2-3 years minimum of OTM (Oracle Transportation Management) configuration experience
• Excellent team player that can work across a diverse group of team members
• Must have excellent writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to learn on the fly
• Willing to travel up to 20%
