Redwood Bulk is Looking for Dispatcher Full Time

Looking for an energetic, self motivated individual to work in our dispatch department. The successful applicant will be responsible for:

• dispatching 6 – 10 trucks within BC and Alberta for petroleum deliveries
• Creating and Completing orders in our Dispatch Program (Axon)
• Driver onboarding; which includes completing our hiring package, safety training, issuing fuel cards, updating drivers at refineries, scheduling rack tests, etc.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with drivers, team and customers.
• Problem solving
• Ensure the drivers have the proper instructions to perform their duties safely.
• Listen to all driver concerns and act on them appropriately.
• Ensure the Company meets all customer requirements, and any changes are communicated immediately.
• Ensure the dispatch system is up to date.
• Ensure that the driver has adequate time to perform his duties safely and within the Hours of Work regulations.

Requirements

• Experience in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in the transportation industry
• Experience with Axon Software would be an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
