The Role

RedMane is seeking a Software Architect that will help drive the re-architecture and re-development of our mission critical Enterprise class SaaS platform, mCase.

The Software Architect will lead critical delivery efforts and will need to have both strong business and technical acumen.

This role will provide direction to our product team to assure fidelity of development efforts with your architectural designs, coding quality practices, and security standards.

Responsibilities include :

• Design and architect enterprise-scale SaaS product in collaboration with client teams, and internal project teams.
• Engage and lead client teams as a trusted partner and internal project teams as the co-owner of product vision and redevelopment strategy.
• Develop technical Proofs of Concept, prototypes, technical requirements, and technical design elements.
• Resolve architecture conflicts and escalated technical issues as necessary.
• Guide development efforts in mentoring and coaching product team in coding standards, secure coding practices and structure of the code base.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in professional services solutions and / or commercial software development experience.
• 3+ years’ of proven expertise in microservices.
• Proven leadership, results orientation, and self-motivation traits with the ability to build consensus around proposed solutions.
• Solid understanding of a variety of programming tools and development platforms.
• Knowledge of programming languages like C#, TypeScript, Python, web development.
• Familiarity with diagramming complex architectures.
• Proficiency in Unified Modeling Language (UML) is an essential requirement, C4 model preferred.
• Proficiency with SOLID, Design Patterns, Distributed and Domain Architecture, IoC etc.
• Experience setting coding standards and security coding practices.
• Experience implementing code analysis solutions such as SonarQube, OWASP tools.
• Database architecture, schema development, performance testing, index analysis.
• Experience with SQL, Cosmos, Redis, Message Bus, Containers, Kubernetes clusters preferred.
